Hinda Miller has been a Democratic member of the Vermont Senate since 2002, representing Chittendon County.
Education
Miller earned her BFA from Parson's School of Design in 1972. She went on to receive her MFA from New York University in 1976.
Professional experience
Miller is the Co-Founder of Jogbra, Incorporated. She was president/CEO of Champion Jogbra from 1990 to 1998. She has also worked as a consultant for Vermont Country Store, N.E. Culinary. From 1999 to 2002 she was a member of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Board. She became a commissioner at Burlington International Airport in 2000 and has worked there since.
Political experience
Miller was a candidate for the Mayor of Burlington in 2006 but was defeated. She was elected to the Vermont State Senate in 2002. She has served in the senate since, representing Chittendon County.
