This measure was also approved in DuPage County

  • YES 1,087 (63.34%)Approveda
  • NO 629 (36.66%)[2]

This measure sought to allow the position of village clerk to be appointed by the village president rather than elected in to office. Currently there has not been a clerk for two years and trustees saw this as the main reason an appointed position would be better for the village. Though some trustees still thought that it should remain an elected position.[3]
