Hollis S. French II is a Democratic member of the Alaska Senate, representing the M district since 2003. He is chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Education
French earned a B.A. in English from University of Alaska in 1990. He later went on to earn a J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1995.

French has been a member of the Alaskan state Senate since 2003. Prior to the Senate, French served as as Assistant District Attorney from 1996-2002 and a law clerk to superior court judge from 1995-1996.
