The question on the ballot:

Shall the Township of Homer, County of Calhoun, Michigan, “levy a tax of 1 mill (One Dollar, $1.00) per One Thousand ($1,000) of the Taxable Value” on all Taxable property in the Township of Homer, for a period of eight years beginning in the 2013 calendar year and ending December 31, 2020, inclusive, in order to provide funds for the operation and support of the Homer Public Library? If approved and levied in its entirety this library millage renewal would raise an estimated $56,634.25 in the first year.[3]
