There was a Hoquiam City Additional Property Tax measure on the February 9 ballot in Grays Harbor County for voters in the city of Hoquiam.

This measure was defeated because it did not get the 60 percent super majority needed to pass.

This measure sought to add on to an existing levy, the money from this levy for further funding of the emergency medical services provided by the city. The levy will be in the amount of $.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further six years. [2]
