Howard Orton was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Maryland. Orton was defeated by Nancy Jacobs in the Republican primary on April 3, 2012.[1]

Orton ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Maryland's 2nd District. He sought the nomination on the Republican ticket, but he was defeated by state Sen. Nancy Jacobs in the April 3, 2012, primary.[2]
