Hugh Floyd is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 99th District since 2003.

Floyd retired in 2001. He worked as a Sales Executive with the Industrial Packaging Corporation from 1970-2001, salesman with Nationwide Popin from 1966-1970, and was a Staff Sergeant in the Georgia Air National Guard from 1959-1967.

He is President of the Blackwood Hills Association of Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful, Gwinnett County Parent Teacher Association Council, Harmony Grove Methodist Church, and is President of Meadow Creek High School.[1]
