A Huntington Beach Equal Taxation and Assessments for Sunset Beach, Measure AA ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in Sunset Beach in Orange County, where it was approved.

The approval of Measure AA means the residents of Sunset Beach will pay the same assessments, taxes and property-related fees as do the residents of Huntingon Beach.

Sunset Beach, a small island, was recently annexed to the City of Huntington Beach. Its residents were not given the opportunity to vote on the annexation. Measure AA afforded the residents of Sunset Beach the opportunity to vote on whether they wish to pay the prevailing taxes, assessments, and so on, that apply to the residents of the community into which they were annexed.
