A Huntington Park Utility Users Tax, Measure B ballot question was on the February 5, 2008 ballot for voters in the City of Huntington Park in Los Angeles County, where it was approved.

Measure B adopted Ordinance No. 814-NS. This ordinance reduced the rate of the City of Huntington Park’s Communications Users’ Tax from 7% to 6.5%, while simultaneously enlarging the number of communication services (utilities) upon which the tax must be paid. The net result of the two changes was an expected increase in revenue to the city.

Measure B: "Shall Ordinance No. 814-NS be adopted to reduce the rate of the City of Huntington Park’s Communications Users’ Tax from 7% to 6.5% and maintain a flow of tax revenues to fund essential city services; to revise the method for calculating and collecting the Communications Users’ Tax (currently called the Telephone Users’ Tax) to reflect technological advances and changes in federal law; and to ratify and approve the past collection of the Tax?"[1]
