Idaho State Sales Tax, Referendum 1 (1966)
The Idaho State Sales Tax Referendum, also known as Referendum 1, was on the November 8, 1966 ballot in Idaho as a veto referendum, where it was approved. The measure approved a bill enacted by the 1965 legislature that provided for a 3% excise tax on the sale, storage or use of tangible personal property.
