Incarcerated felons voting in Louisiana is the recognition of incarcerated residents of a state who are currently convicted of a felony and are currently on the states voting rolls. The following information is presented by data obtained by the Louisiana Department of Corrections and the governing body of elections in a particular state known as the Louisana Secretary of State. Voting laws in Louisana make it illegal for an incarcerated felon to vote while in prison or even serving probation after serving time in incarceration. In Louisana, felons are restored the right to vote upon completion of sentence and parole/probation.
