Incarcerated felons voting in Mississippi is the recognition of incarcerated residents of a state who are currently convicted of a felony and are currently on the states voting rolls. The following information is presented by data obtained by the Mississippi Department of Corrections and the governing body of elections in a particular state known as the Missouri Secretary of State. Voting laws in Mississippi make it illegal for an incarcerated felon to vote along with any criminal serving probation or parole. Mississippi also denies the right permanetely to any felon who has been convicted of have never been convicted of murder, arson, armed robbery, bigamy, bribery, embezzlement, extortion, felony bad check, felony shoplifting, forgery, larceny, obtaining money or goods under false pretense, perjury, rape, receiving stolen property, robbery, theft, timber larceny, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, statutory rape, or carjacking, or I have had my rights restored as required by lawfraud[1]. Felons in Mississippi for some offenses are automatically re-granted civil rights after they serve probation and parole while some apply to the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office[2]. The Governor does not make decisions on civil rights restoral[3].
