INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana: Democrat Floyd Grubb, a 23-year veteran of the Indiana House of Representatives, announced on Wednesday that he would not be seeking re-election. "I've been there for a while its time for a change. You only get so many times at bat, and I think I'm close to my limit," he stated.[1]

Grubb, a farmer, first assumed the District 42 seat in 1988. He currently serves as Minority Caucus Chair. In a statement Grubb said he was most proud of his work to expand organ donor programs in the state, also noting his effort to expand renewable energy and help veterans and farmers.[2]

All 100 seats of the state House will be up for election on November 6, 2012.
