An Ingham County Transportation Levy Increase measure was on the August 3, 2010 ballot in Ingham County.

This measure sought to reauthorize a levy to help fund transportation for the elderly in the county, the levy will be at a rate of $.48 per $1,000 of assessed property and would just be in place for a year.[2]

The question on the ballot:


For the purpose of reauthorizing funding for a transportation system to be used primarily by elderly and disabled persons in Ingham County at the same combined total millage level previously approved by the voters in 2004 and 2006, shall the constitutional limitation upon the total amount of taxes which may be assessed in one (1) year upon all property within the County of Ingham, Michigan, be increased by up to 48/100 (.48) of one mill, $.48 per thousand dollars of state taxable valuation for a period of five years (2011-2015) inclusive?[3]
