The Iowa Same-Sex Marriage Ban Amendment may appear on the 2014 ballot in the state of Iowa as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment. The measure would ban same-sex marriage in the state. According to reports, the measure was pushed by supporters during 2012 state legislative session.^[1]
