Isla Vista property transfer election, Measure D, 2008

The Isla Vista property transfer election, Measure D appeared on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Santa Barbara County, California for voters in the Isla Vista recreation and park district.

The question asked was, "Shall a measure be approved to authorize: (i) the sale or trade of Pardall Gardens and the District office properties; and (ii) the transfer and/or swap of subterranean or other use rights from Anisq'Oyo’, People’s and Perfect parks? Any funds realized shall only be used for a community center and District infrastructure. These authorizations shall expire ten (10) years following the effective date of this measure."

Measure D was defeated with 28.24% of voters in favor of it.
