Chris Vaughn was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Georgia. He lost to incumbent Henry C. Johnson Jr..[1]


Vaughn has worked as a Pastor, Conference Speaker, Humorist, and Radio Talk-Show host.[2] He currently works as the Lead Pastor of Grace Summit Church in McDonough, Georgia.[2] Vaughn also works as a Police Chaplain with the Henry County Police Department.[2]

Vaughn ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 4th District.[3] He won the primary and advanced to the general election on November 6, 2012, where he lost to Hank Johnson.[4]
