J.P. Hemminger was a Democratic candidate for District 43 of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The primary election was on July 27, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Hemminger ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on July 27. He was defeated by incumbent Colby Schwartz (R) in the general election. Schwartz won his third term.[1]
