J. T. "Jabo" Waggoner is a Republican member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 16th District since 1990. He has been the Minority Leader since 2002. Previously he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1966 through 1983. He received a B.A. from Birmingham Southern College and a Juris Doctor degree from Birmingham School of Law
