Johnson was re-elected to the 23rd District seat in 2010. He also faced no opposition on the general election ballot on November 2, 2010. However, he defeated Melanie Hollis who campaigned in opposition as a write-in candidate. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[2][3]
