Campaign themes

Mobley's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[1]

  • Excerpt: "The entrepreneurial spirit in our Valley is strong – let’s change our government policies and allow that spirit to flourish. This means that we must rein in taxes and shed the oppressive regulatory burden that is hurting our agricultural economy and driving employers to other states."

  • Excerpt: "As your State assemblyman, I will be an advocate for more water storage, accessibility to clean drinking water, emergency drought relief, and regional water supply projects."

High Speed Rail

  • Excerpt: "I have opposed the High Speed Rail proposal from the beginning. If that project were ever built, it would become a perpetual tax burden, above and beyond the untold billions it would cost to build. It would destroy homes, business and farmland."

Public Safety

  • Excerpt: " As your State Assemblyman, you can be sure that I will vote against any measure that would release hardened criminals before they complete their full prison terms."
