Jackie Dingfelder (b. December 30, 1960) is a former Democratic member of the Oregon State Senate, representing District 23 from 2009 to 2013. Dingfelder was the Chair of the Oregon House Energy and Environment Committee.

On October 16, 2013, Dingfelder announced that she would resign from her seat, effective November 4, 2013, to work as the policy director for the Mayor of Portland.[1]

Dingfelder served in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2001 to 2009.

Biography

Dingfelder earned her B.A. in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her M.A. in Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her professional experience includes working as an Environmental Policy and Planning Consultant.[2]

Dingfelder won re-election in the 2012 election for Oregon State Senate District 23. Dingfelder was unopposed in the May 15 Democratic primary and defeated Tracy Olsen (I) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]
