James Foster was a 2012 Independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Pennsylvania. He lost to incumbent Chaka Fattah.[1]

Foster ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Pennsylvania's 2nd District. Foster ran as an Independent and faced incumbent Chaka Fattah (D), Robert Mansfield (R) and Robert Ogborn (I) in the November 6 general election.[2]
