Naifeh ran for re-election to the 81st District Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[3] He defeated Republican Jim Hardin in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]

On Nov. 4, 2008, Naifeh won re-election to the 81th District Seat in the Tennessee House of Representatives, defeating opponent Rory Bricco (R). [5]
