James O. Baker was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Missouri. Baker was defeated by Ann Wagner in the Republican primary on August 7, 2012.[1]

Politico listed the 2nd District race as one of the top five primaries in the list 5 primaries to watch in 2012.[2]

Biography

Baker is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and small business owner. He is a member of Grace Church-St. Louis, where he teaches Bible classes.[3]
