James Reese was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 12th Congressional District of Ohio.[1]
Biography
Reese earned his BA in American Studies/Music from Hillsdale College in 2000. He went on to receive his JD from Capital University Law School in 2004. He is currently managing attorney/partner of the Law Office of James B. Reese, III, and has worked in this position since 2010.
Elections
2012
Reese was defeated by Patrick J. Tiberi.[2] Reese ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Ohio's 12th District. Reese defeated Doug Litt in the March 6, 2012, Democratic primary and faces incumbent Patrick J. Tiberi (R) in the November 6 general election.
The Washington Post listed the House of Representatives elections in Ohio in 2012 as one of the states that could determine whether Democrats retake the House or Republicans will holds its majority in 2013.[3] Ohio tied with Pennsylvania for 9th on the list.[3]
