James Seymour (b. April 8, 1939) is a Republican member of the Iowa Senate, representing District 28.
Education
Seymour attended both Illinois State Teacher's College and Creighton University.
Professional experience
Seymour served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He is currently President of the Heartland Healthcare Corporation, Vice President of Creighton Memorial St. Joseph Hospital, and President/CEO of Algent Health Community Memorial Hospital.
Political experience
Seymour joined the Iowa State Senate in 2002. He has served in that position since, representing the 28th district.
