Jan Jones is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 47 since 2013. Jones represented the 46th District from 2003 to 2013. She also served as the House Speaker Pro Tempore.

Jones is a community advocate, former marketing executive, and worked as Marketing Director, Auditor, and Analyst for Home Box Office, Incorporated.

She is a member of the Hope Grant Scholarship Program, and was appointed to the Land Conservation Partnership.[1]

Jones ran for re-election to the 46th District seat in 2010. She had no opposition in the July 20 primary. Jones defeated Paul Kennedy (D) in the general election. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[4]
