Jason Atkinson (b. November 6, 1970) has been a Republican member of the Oregon Senate since 2000, representing the 2nd district.
Education
Atkinson earned his BS from Southern Oregon State College in 1992. He went on to receive his Master's in Management from Williamette University in 1997.
Professional experience
Atkinson has worked as the director of a ski school as well as a Radio Talk Show Producer/Personality. He is currently a Management Consultant and founder of Allmand Tree Creative.
Political experience
Atkinson served as the Assistant Majority Leader of the Oregon State House of Representatives from 1998 to 2000. He was also a candidate for Governor of Oregon in 2006. He joined the Oregon State Senate in 2000. He has served in that position since, representing the 2nd district.\

Policy positions
