In 2011, he left the Senate after being chosen by Gov. John Kasich (R) to head the Office of Appalachia. He was replaced by Lou Gentile (D) in December of 2011.[1][2]
Wilson is a small business owner. He has been Vice President of Wilson Funeral and Furniture Company since 1992. Wilson earned his BA in Political Science from Ohio State University in 1992. He went on to receive his MBA from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1996.
