Biography
Bradford is a Certified Insurance Counselor (C.I.C.).[2] He has served as co-chair of the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape, and Domestic Violence Commission.[3]

Political career
Arkansas Commissioner of Insurance (2009-Present)
Bradford was appointed by Governor Mike Beebe on January 15, 2009. As the commissioner serves at the pleasure of the governor, Bradford is not subject to periodic reappointment.
Department of Human Services (2007-2009)
Before becoming commissioner, Bradford served for two years as Director of the Behavioral Health Services division in the Arkansas Department of Human Services.[3]
Arkansas State Senate (2000-2007)
From 2000 to 2007, Bradford held a seat in the Arkansas State Senate and served as president pro tempore of the state senate.[3]
Arkansas House of Representatives (1983-1999)
He also served for 24 years in both state legislative houses; from 1983 to 1999 he was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives and he served variously as speaker pro tempore of the House.[3]
