Jeffrey John "Jeff" Denham (b. July 29, 1967) is a Republican member of the U.S. House representing California's 19th congressional district. Denham was first elected to the House in 2010.

Denham is running for re-election in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing California's 10th District as a Republican.[1] He was displaced from his current district, the 19th by redistricting. Jose Hernandez and Mike Barkley are running as Democrats in the June 5, 2012 open primary election.

Based on an analysis of bill sponsorship by GovTrack, Denham is a "centrist Republican".[2]

Biography

Denham was born in Hawthorne, California. He earned his A.A. from Victor Valley Junior College in 1989 and a B.A. from California Polytechnic State University in 1992.[3]

He is running against Jose Hernandez (D), Mike Barkley (D), Chad Condit (Ind), and Troy Wayne McComak (Ind) in the June 5, 2012, open primary.[17]

On November 2, 2010, Denham won election to the United States House. He defeated Loraine Goodwin (D) in the general election.[18]
