Jeff Sinnard (b. October 6, 1962) was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 1st Congressional District of Ohio.[1]
Biography
Sinnard was an intern for the City of Covington from 1984 to 1986. In 1986, he received his BScEE in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He has since worked as an engineer for various different employers. He has worked as a self-employed engineering consultant since 2003.
Elections
2012
Sinnard was defeated by incumbent Steve Chabot.[2] Sinnard ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Ohio's 1st District. Sinnard defeated Malcolm Kantzler in the March 6, 2012 primary.[3]
The Washington Post listed the House of Representatives elections in Ohio in 2012 as one of the states that could determine whether Democrats retake the House or Republican holds its majority in 2013.[4] Ohio tied with Pennsylvania for 9th on the list.[4]
