Solomon ran in the 2012 election for Florida House of Representatives District 115. Solomon ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012, and was defeated by incumbent Michael Bileca (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Solomon did not have any opposition in the August 24 primary. He lost to Jose Felix Diaz (R) in the November 2 general election. Christopher Blau (TEA) came in third.[2]
