Stone has previously worked as a printing business owner, operator, and business manager. He is a member of the Friends of the Greenfield Library, Greendale Lions Club, Greenfield Chamber of Commerce, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, Milwaukee/Racine Printing House Craftsmen, Partners of Parks, and Southwest Suburban Chamber Coalition.[1]
On December 15, 2010, Stone announced he would be a candidate for Milwaukee County Executive, running on the April 2011 ballot.[2]
