Jenks Public School Bond Issues, 2 (December 2009)

There were two Jenks Public School Bond Issues on the December 8 ballot in Tulsa County for voters in the Jenks Public School area.

The first bond, proposition 1, sought to create a bond in the amount of $9,220,000 in order to help fund the construction, repair and equipping of school buildings in the district. This would add an increase to property taxes in the area. This measure passed with 71.02% in favor.

The second bond, proposition 2, sought to create a bond in the amount of $600,000 in order to help fund the buying of transportation equipment for the school district. This also would raise the district property taxes in the area.[1] This measure passed with 71.10% in favor.[2]
