Seelig was a Policy and Research Analyst for the Salt Lake City Council from 1995 to 2000. She then worked for the Salt Lake City Mayor from 2000 to 2001. She previously served as Minority Whip.
Seelig is a Communication and Legislative Policy Analyst for the Utah League of Cities and Towns. She has been the Associate Director of Governmental Relations for 1-800 CONTACTS since 2003.
Seelig earned her BA in English from the University of Louisville. She went on to receive her MPA from the University of Utah. She was then a PhD Candidate in Political Science from the University of Utah.
