Jill Tokuda is a Democratic state senator in the Hawaii Senate, representing the 24th district.
Education
Tokuda earned her BA in International Relations from George Washington University.
Professional experience
Tokuda has worked as Director of Community Relations for Reynolds Recycling. She has also been Director of Development for the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii. She has been Executive Aide for Lieutenant Governor Mazie Hirono. She is President and founder of Charitable Ventures, Incorporated.
Political experience
Tokuda joined the Hawaii State Senate in 2006 and has served in that position since. She is currently Senate Majority Whip, representing the 24th district.
