Jim Berns was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Ohio.[1]

Berns ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Ohio's 1st District. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was December 7, 2011. Burns defeated Sandra Queen Noble in the Libertarian Party primary on March 6, 2012. Burns was defeated by incumbent Rep. Steve Chabot (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
