U.S. House, North Carolina, District 2
Jim Duncan was a potential 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of North Carolina.[1] Duncan did not file to run in the primary election.


Duncan serves as the chair of the Chatham County Republican Party.[2]

Duncan is considered a potential U.S. House candidate in 2016. After incumbent Renee Ellmers (R) helped pull an anti-abortion bill, she upset many members of her base. These actions could inspire a primary challenge against her.[2]
