Jim Dunnigan (b. March 31, 1953) is a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 39 since 2003.

Dunnigan was the State Delegate of the Republican Party from 1990 to 1992. He also was Councilman on the Taylorsville-Bennion Community Council from 1991 to 1996. From 1996 to 2002, he served on the Taylorsville City Council. Dunnigan then served as County Delegate for the Republican Party from 2002 to 2004.

Dunnigan was the owner/Insurance Broker of Dunnigan Insurance from 1976 to 2004.

Dunnigan earned his BS in Business Management from the University of Utah in 1976.

Dunnigan won re-election in the 2012 election for Utah House of Representatives District 39. Dunnigan was unopposed in the June 26 Republican primary and defeated Barbara Eubanks (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [1]
