Jim Nelson was a Democratic candidate for the District 85 in the South Carolina House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections.

Nelson did not have any opposition in the June 8 primary. He defeated by incumbent Chip Huggins (R) in the November 2 general election.[1]
