Rausch won re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire State Senate, District 19.[2] Rausch ran unopposed in the September 11th Republican primary election and defeated R. Christopher Reisdorf (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]

Rausch received 5,398 votes.
