Jim Roers is a former Republican member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 46 in 2012. He was appointed in April 2012 to fill the seat left vacant by Tom Fischer.[1]

Roers is president of Roers Development, a property development company.[1]

Roers ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota Senate District 46. Roers ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 12. He was defeated by George B. Sinner in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
