Jim Schneider recall, Osage Beach Fire Protection District, Missouri, 2009
From Ballotpedia
(Redirected from Jim Schneider recall, Osage Beach Fire Protection District, 2009)
Both the Camden and Miller County clerks offices have received paperwork that will begin the process of a recall petition to remove Osage Beach Fire Protection District board member Jim Schneider from office. However, on July 6, 2009 Schneider resigned from his position amidst the recall campaign, declining to comment on his actions.[1][2]
The notice was filed by Osage Beach, Missouri resident Justin Farrell. Schneider, who was elected to the board in April 2008, is under fire for allegations of misrepresentation of taxpayers and mismanagement of district funds. At least 1,300 signatures of registered voters inside the district will need to be collected. [1]
