Jody Letson was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 7 of the Alabama House of Representatives.

Letson was a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 7 from 1996 to 2010.


Letson's professional experience includes working for Letson's Grocery, Letson Brothers Farm and as a jobsetter for General Motors.

Letson has been involved with a number of organizations, including the Board of Mental Health, Boys and Girls Club of Hillsboro, Cattleman's Association, Hillsboro Baptist Church, Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and the Lawrence County Historical Commission.[1]

Letson lost his re-election bid to the 7th District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He was defeated by Ken Johnson in the November 2 general election.[6]
