Jody Richards (b. February 20, 1938) is a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 20. He was first elected to the chamber in 1976. He served as speaker from 1995-1998 and 2006-2008. He ran for Governor of Kentucky in 2003 and 2007.

Richards's professional experience includes working as owner of Superior Books and teacher at Western Kentucky University. He served in the United States Army Reserve.
