Elections
2011
On November 8, 2011, Steverson won election to District 4 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He faced James Nunnally and Steve Fisher in the primary on August 2, 2011.[1] Since no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, a run off took place on August 23 between Steverson and Nunnally, with Steverson winning 3,478 to 3,194.[2] Steverson defeated James Benefield (R) in the November 8 general election.
