Joe Mioli is a former Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 136 from 2005 to 2011. He was a Westport Town Meeting Representative from 2003 to 2005.


Mioli's professional experience includes working as Co-Owner of Westport Pizzeria/Mioli Brothers from 1968 to 2002.

Mioli is a member of American Legion Post #143, Association for the Advancement of Retired Persons, the Fayerweather Yacht Club, Minuteman Yacht Club, United States Power Squadron and Young Men's Christian Association Indian Princess Programs.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Mioli won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 136th District, defeating Nitzy Cohen (R). Mioli received 8,185 votes in the election while Cohen received 4,656 votes.[2] Mioli raised $32,719 for his campaign; Cohen raised $29,984.[3]
