Joe Stegner has been a Republican member of the Idaho Senate since 1998. He represents the 7th district. Stenger was re-elected in November of 2008 with his term expiring in 2010. He currently serves as the Assistant Senate Majority Leader of the Idaho Senate.
Stenger earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho.
Stenger currently works as a property manager and was the former owner of Stegner Grain & Seed Company from 1972 to 1995.
